An event named “RoboCup”
firstly was held in 1997 with 40 teams and 5000 spectators. After that the
RoboCup competitions held yearly. The main gold of these competitions is that in
the 21 century, a
fully autonomous humanoid robot soccer team shall win the winner of
the World Cup team.
The main
leagues in RoboCup competitions are:
- RoboCup Soccer: two teams play soccer in 5 predefined league with different rules:
